  • Universal Studios will scare you silly with imitation earthquakes and a re-creation of 1930s Manhattan being terrorized by King Kong. You can also tour the seaside village from Jaws and the creepy house from Psycho.
  • Always a popular attraction, Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven presents its famous water ski shows, botanical gardens and nostalgic antebellum atmosphere. (50 miles)
  • Visit the charming storybook town of Winter Park and take the scenic boat tour which cruises through the city's pretty canals.
  • Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral, on Florida's Space Coast, is literally out of this world. It's home to astronauts, the space shuttle and fascinating NASA exhibits. (45 miles)
